COUNSELLING

At some point, we will experience hard times in our lives. Only a few know how to use this as a starting point for a more positive life. I offer a safe place where you can discuss your thoughts and feelings in confidence. My aim is to work with you in order find your hidden potential. I can help you find alternative tools, which you can use to develop and learn more about yourself.

What Counselling is not:

  • Is not being judged

  • Is not the counsellor trying to sort out your problem/s

  • Is not like talking to a friend or relative

  • Is not me not imposing my own views and perspectives on you

  • Is not 'Curing' you

  • Is not being emotionally involved

  • Is not telling you what you want to hear

What Counselling is:

It is a talking therapy. A Counsellor is trained and qualified to use many types of talking therapies in order to counsel clients. As previously mentioned, I am an Integrative Counsellor and this means I use a range of therapeutic models rather than just one. This means that I can be more flexible with my clients.
